You always find a way to keep me right here waiting.
So basically, my mom thinks that I'm stupid, immature, and I'll screw anything that moves.
Agh. I love life.

This triumph of the soul will make you shiver tonight.
Heey.
Y'all know you like my quizzes. Haha.
Well, let's see. I figured I'd update on the weekends. So, of course, I won't be telling you every detail of my life. Haha. But last week went pretty well. I got all my interims and was satisfied with all my grades except World Civ. It was a 92, B. Better than most kids', but not good enough for me. Hopefully the test on Ancient Egypt raised my grade a bit. I stayed up til 5 am the night before studying for it. Agh.
Anyway, in other news...Eberhardt is back! Apparently he moved to Forest with his mom and hated it, so he moved back here. I don't have any classes with him, though. We have Math at the same time, so I see him in the hallway. w00t.
Um...Our band competition went great. We got 1st in everything except Drum Major and Music. And we were 'Band of the Day' in A and AA...Which is the equivilant of Grand Champions. Our score was also higher than the Grand Champion of AAA and AAAA, which means that we would have been the Grand Champions anyway. We rock so hard.
I got the new Disturbed album, which ROCKS. I loooove it. A lot.
Er....And some other stuff. The end. Bye.
Just kidding. I went to Judgement House, which was pretty cool. Some parts were uber emotional...And Audrey was CHEESIN' for Jesus! Hahaha.
But anyway, I need to go start that Mummification paper. See y'all around.

| Your Personality Is |
|
Rational (NT)You are both logical and creative. You are full of ideas. You are so rational that you analyze everything. This drives people a little crazy! Intelligence is important to you. You always like to be around smart people. In fact, you're often a little short with people who don't impress you mentally. You seem distant to some - but it's usually because you're deep in thought. Those who understand you best are fellow Rationals. In love, you tend to approach things with logic. You seek a compatible mate - who is also very intelligent. At work, you tend to gravitate toward idea building careers - like programming, medicine, or academia. With others, you are very honest and direct. People often can't take your criticism well. As far as your looks go, you're coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly. On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things. |
| Your Career Type: Artistic |
You are expressive, original, and independent. Your talents lie in your artistic abilities: creative writing, drama, crafts, music, or art. You would make an excellent: Actor - Art Teacher - Book Editor Clothes Designer - Comedian - Composer Dancer - DJ - Graphic Designer Illustrator - Musician - Sculptor The worst career options for your are conventional careers, like bank teller or secretary. |
| Your Brain's Pattern |
Your brain is always looking for the connections in life. You always amaze your friends by figuring out things first. You're also good at connecting people - and often play match maker. You see the world in fluid, flexible terms. Nothing is black or white. |
| You Are 70% Boyish and 30% Girlish |
| You are pretty evenly split down the middle - a total eunuch. Okay, kidding about the eunuch part. But you do get along with both sexes. You reject traditional gender roles. However, you don't actively fight them. You're just you. You don't try to be what people expect you to be. |
| Your Seduction Style: Au Natural |
You rank up there with your seduction skills, though you might not know it. That's because you're a natural at seduction. You don't realize your power! The root of your natural seduction power: your innocence and optimism. You're the type of person who happily plays around and creates a unique little world. Little do you know that your personal paradise is so appealing that it sucks people in. You find joy in everything - so is it any surprise that people find joy in you? You bring back the inner child in everyone you meet with your sincere and spontaneous ways. Your childlike (but not childish) behavior also inspires others to care for you. As a result, those who you befriend and date tend to be incredibly loyal to you. |
Uniqueness- Your inner power is
Uniqueness! You are very different from
everyone around you, and you like it that way.
In fact, youd be furious if you were anything
else. To the world outside you are a buoyant,
fun loving person, and are probably pretty
popular. Yet deep down you feel the urge to be
accepted as who you are, and desperately want
someone who is truly there for you. You are
very indecisive and change your mind regularly
over just about anything. Youre very
opinionated, and bulldoze over anyone who
doesnt share your views. At times you can be
very depressed, though few people realise it
with your animated personality. You are great
fun to be around, and enjoy shocking people
with your out there views and beliefs. At times
however, your urge to be different can work
against you, as people dont often enjoy their
ideas of right and wrong having any shades of
grey. But dont let them get to you; youre an
awesome person who many love. You have no doubt
heaps of friends, but dont always have that
close friend/s that you want and need. You
strive to be accepted for who you are, and are
protective and loyal to those who earn your
trust. Although at times you think there may be
no one there, look around. There is someone in
the shadows who desperately wants to be your
friend, who maybe you just havent noticed. Dont
let anyone get you down, youre the one who
gives this boring world excitement and culture.
Keep it up! Boy/Girl who will sweep you off your feet:
Someone different and independent. Someone who
isnt your typical male/female, who can accept
that not everything has to be black and white,
and yes, there are many, many shades of grey. Your stone/jewel: Amethyst Your power: Difference/Change. This is
the ability to make a difference in the world,
to create new ideas and opinions, and to open
up the minds of others to show that there is
more than one shade of grey. Your element: Electricity/Lightening A quote that applies to you: "Id
much rather to be hated for who I am than loved
for who Im not."
What's your inner power? (Girls only sorry. Beautiful anime pictures, lengthy results)
brought to you by Quizilla

And I love the way you laugh...
Agh, Sarah is so lovesick nowadays.
Started out with a little crush, the "Aw, he's so adorable!" type of like, to the full blown LIKE. I hate boys, and all their molecules, cells, tissues, organs, organ systems, etc. (Stupid Biology, hahaha.)
Aw. But he really is adorable.
But anyway, moving on to the point of life.
High school's still going pretty good. I mean, I don't like it, cause it's SCHOOL, ugh, but whatever. I've gotten used to it, and I have three tests on Tuesday I should be studying for. But hey...I need to update this thing too.
We had our second foot ball game last night. It was the E.C. Glass game so it was huge. 8978947894 people were there. But we lost, 7-0. Oh welllll....It was fun anyways. With Rhea going psycho, and Jacob saving Ben from her psycho-rage.....Eep. Hanging out with Audrey, Jenny, and Lauren on our break. CJ asking Lauren for a hug and me busting out laughing AGAIN. Greeeeat stuff. But high school has already presented some awesome times. Like:
The Lunch Crew: Audrey, Jenny, Lauren, Katie, Jimmy, Michael, Steven, and Me. We've taken over one of the circle tables, which I like, cause you can see everyone. But it's awesome. Busting out laughing when Lauren asked Steven for a hug, just because. Tossing around a runty apple, and Jenny taking a bite. Throwing Audrey's water bottle at Steven. Making fun of Steven's mocassins. Telling stories and banging our hands on the table. Good stuff, right thurrr.
The Gnome Government and "Da Game", during the night time chats. Stefan, Audrey, Sam, Josh (sometimes) and Me.
Monica is my guardian angel, saving me from doing unintelligent things...most of the time...
Josh and Stefan stopping right in front of me in the band hallway so I run into them.
French Class: Sharing funny looks with Jasmyne. Making fun of Jimmy G. Popping Jake's collar. Talking about James, "Il est gourmande!" (He likes to eat.) "If you were a skirt, I'd wear you." Shoving Jimmy into the women's bathroom after class. The door almost killing me. "My friend made this for me. I was coming back from a trip, and right after I got of the plane, he lei'd me." Bwahaha.
Band: (sometimes) Kicking people in the fo'head. Lindsay trying to get up and falling right back on her bum. Jacob's face as he tried not to bust out laughing and lose the ice in his mouth. Falling under the tree and getting leaves stuck in my hair. Losing the top piece to my flute. Monica finding the top piece to my flute. Riding to the bus in CJ's truck. CJ backing up the truck as we all stood up and almost fell out. NILLA WAFER! The Essence of Life. (Haha, Katie!)
Good times.
Well, I'm gunna go eat and do useful things....Later.

I'd say your worst side's your best side.
Double w00t foe teh new layout.
Don't ask me why the banner at the top just floats in the middle of everything. I wouldn't know.
I mean, I only made the layout.
But yeah, you should check out that beautiful MySpace button I made.
In the profile section.
<<< Thata way.
PIN- Just to let you know, the song on the background is "Duck and Run" by 3 Doors Down.
And all she wants is just the something to hold on to.
Whoa.
Well, in my opinion, the first week of high school went by pretty fast. Since I don't feel like doing a day to day overview (and, let's face it, I really can't remember all of it) I'll just give you my genereal opinions of all of it.
1st- GYM. Ugh.
- It's frikkin first period. + We can leave our clothes in the locker room. + It's not that hot in the gym. - ...It's FIRST period. ++ Monica, Audrey, Becca, Josh D, Jimmy, and Spenser are all in my class. -------- Darnell is in my class. - Next week, we actually have to do an activity instead of walking the track. - I reallllllly can't do those curl ups. My feet fly up in the air. + Ms. Hartless seems ok. Obviously we haven't been doing much that we can do wrong, but I think if we stay on her good side we might be able to survive. Haha.
2nd- Biology.
-I doze off repeatedly in that class. + Katie, Tara, Sam, and Jake are in my block. -------------Darnell is in my block. +/- Biology seems like a more in depth look at Life Science from 6th grade. + Mr. Walker likes LOTR and Harry Potter. - He is also a UVA fan. Ugh. - It's really, realllly boring. - Mr. Walker is all about the monotone. And he's really quiet. + We got to thumb wrestle. My recored was 3/2.
3rd- World History and Civilizations.
+ Mr. Gafford is awesome! - We have 20 to 45 minutes of reading every night. + Mr. Gafford is really loud and keeps us interested. + The stuff we're learning is pretty easy, even if I don't believe it.
4th- English
+ English is super easy. + I sit behind Katie and next to Sam. - Ms. Wright is the uber strict. - We went over the writing rubric AGAIN. (We've only done it 87482 times in 5 years.) - We still have to do that gay warm up thing. - We don't get our 10 minutes of reading time. I miss it. + We don't have to do 2 book reports every six weeks. +/- The floor vibrates. + We get to read Romeo and Juliet.
5th- Math
+ Monica sits behind me. I stalk her, apparently. + Josh is also in my class. We got the three smart kids from SMS. Yay! + Mrs. Stanberry seems really cool. The class is really fast paced, which is good. - By the time class is half-way done, I'm STARVED. - Lots of homework. But hey, it's Math. - I miss the teams from 8th grade. + The class, itself, doesn't bore me.
Lunch
+ Nowadays, I pack my lunch. It's easier. + I usually sit with Matt, Monica, Nilles, and Hajra. Kyle, Megan, and occasionally Jimmy sit with us. - We only get 27 minutes! + All my friends are there; - Except Becca. + Concert band is next, so I don't have to go up stairs. Yay!
6th- Concert Band
+ Audrey is in my class. Yay! + The people actually practice and know what they're doing. - Mr. Hand is insane and CANNOT sing. Haha. - We still have practice logs, but + we only have to practice 90 minutes. + Julie and I are still stand mates. + I actually enjoy practicing and play my flute a lot more now.
7th- French II
- It's on the fourth floor, so I go from the 1st floor to there. I'm out of breath by the time I get there. - It's just like French I, with the quizzes every other day. + Got all the French crew from last year - Except Stefan, who ditched us for German. + Mrs. Campbell is ok, I suppose. She's better than Rowlson-Hall. + I remember a lot of French from last year. Cept my numbers.
And then I usually have Marching Band, which is, well, Marching Band. We've got all three songs on the field now, so we're gunna start cleaning it up. We have our second game this Friday. Hopefully we'll do better this time, haha.
But when I don't have Marching Band, I ride the same bus as in middle school, 101. When I got on, you should have seen the look the driver gave me. She is so evil. Eep. I met a girl who lives a street behind me named Lindsay, and she's pretty nice. She kinda helped me through my first year of high school, lead me to our afternoon bus (We both ride 97 in the mornings, cause of our 1st periods) and hopefully when she starts driving I can bum a ride off of her.
Other Factors in teh High School:
+ Food and drink in the hallways. + I really like that soda. - I drink too much soda. + The days go by pretty fast, or it may have just been cause it was the first week. - Bottom locker. Ugh. + Monica saves me from eternal retardation. + I get to hang out with Katie a lot more, cause she's in my classes. + I see most of my friends at Marching Band. - I miss Eberhardt. =( + We can carry around our backpacks. + Lots of people are taller than me!
Well, all in all, high school really doesn't seem that much different from middle school. There's just stairs and more people. Haha. Hopefully, it won't get harder as the year goes on.
OH YEAH.
Definitely forgot to mention-
I WENT TO AN AWESOME FRIGGIN' CONCERT WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
No Address, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, and 3 Doors Down.
Frikkin' awesome.
It was only my second concert, and my first time on the floor, so I wasn't sure what to expect. My mom kept saying, "It's gunna be horrible! You're gunna be squished, and kicked in the face, etc etc." Haha.
During No Address, it wasn't really chaotic, I guess cause they're not that popular yet. When Breaking Benjamin came out, though, kids started moshing and stuff. It was funny, cause my dad and James were trying to make sure I wasn't being beaten, but I was completely ignoring it cause I was watching the lead singer of Breaking Benjamin. Not to go all fan girly on you, but he is FINE. And he has the coolest singing voice. Anyway, they did the songs I wanted them to (Minus Firefly...I was sad) so it was all sorts of awesome. Then, after a bit, Staind came out. They were frickin awesome. When they performed Mudshovel, we were surrounded by moshing. My mom got all panicked and leaned over and said, "If anyone touches you, push them away as hard as you f****** can." I was like, Dude, I'm fine! I got stuck behind this guy who just kinda leaned back on my the whole time. When Staind was done, it took forever and a day for 3 Doors Down to be ready. When they finally came back, I had this girl in front of me who decided to play the "Let's see how far I can swing my head back before breaking the nose of the girl behind me!" game. I could just FEEL the pain. It was scary. Eventually, I managed to squeeze my way til I was beside her, then she just hit me with her elbow a lot. 3 Doors Down was awesome though, they did 'Kryptonite,' 'Loser,' and 'Duck and Run' which are off their first (and best) album. They did 'Away from the Sun' too, and I looove that song. People were body surfing insanely, and I got kicked in the head. It was funny. After it was over, I lost my voice, but gained a Breakin Benjamin shirt. It was beyond the limits of awesome.
I got home at like 1:30 and passed out, but my mom got me up at 5:45 am so I could finish my homework. I wasn't really much use that day, haha.
But anyway, that's how my first week went. It was pretty awesome.
I'll see y'all kids around. Laterrrr, fooligans.
Monday, August 29, 2005, 07:54 pm
Who dares to love forever?
Whoa.
First day of high school.
Madness. Haha. Well, let's start with yesterday. I went to Roanoke cause it's my Grandma's birthday tomorrow and we were celebrating and what not. Of course, I can't go any where near James or he attempts to make my life as miserable as possible. Haha, no, he just doesn't think before he acts. For instance, IMing random people on my buddy list and telling them I want them to be my boyfriend. This particular boy is EIGHTEEN and in COLLEGE. He also has a GIRLFRIEND and a few weeks ago I had a crush on his BROTHER. Needless to say, James was officially evaluated as a moron and I didn't bother speaking to him for the rest of the time. So we came home, and on the way back we stopped at the Bedford Wal-Mart and got some more school supplies. Man, I don't know what it is about Bedford kids, but they STARE at you 24/7. Seriously, it's an effin' staring party down at the Bedford Wal-Mart. Anyway, we finally came home, put my brother to bed, and preceded to dye my hair. This was fun, because my mother had no idea what the crap she was doing. At one point my hair fell forward and got dye on my nose....It turned brown. Haha, I managed to get it off, but it was scurrry. Anyway, we did that, and I think it turned out pretty good. It's close to my natural color (I dyed it back brown cause the sun lightened it to this brownish blonde color...ugh) At the tips, some of it looks black cause my mom smothered in dye a bit much to make sure she covered the blonde, haha. But anyway, moving on to today.
I woke up at about 6:00 AM, and just kinda dashed around the house throwing clothes on and what not. At about 6:40, my dad and I went hunting for my bus stop. (We hadn't bothered looking for it yet.) As we got to the end of my street, my bus pulled up and the guy was like, "You goin to Glass?" and I was like...."No, Heritage, by 97 is my bus..." and he said, "Well, get on." So I did. I was the only one. Anyway, we made a new bus stop at the end of my street, so I just get on there. And I'm the first person to get on. Oh snap. Anyway, we drove around a bunch, and it turns out Julie and Monica ride my bus! Yay! I thought I was going to be all alone. But, no! I was happy.
Anyway, we get to school, and I just wandered in, pretending I knew what I was doing. But I just wandered around, saying hey to some kids, and when a bell rang I went to the gym. Audrey, Becca, James, and Josh D. are the only kids in my class that I know/feel like associating with. Well, Lyndsay has the same period, so hopefully there will be some fun times there. We basically went over rules and stuff. Got a sheet to sign. Yay.
2nd- After gym, I go to Biology, with Walker. That's my homeroom, I guess. But he's ok...We already have tons of words to define and shiz. Ugh. Oh well. It's high school. I kinda expected it. But Darnell is in my block...Argh. The only cool kids (Haha, I mean my friends) in my block are Katie, Tara, Sam, and I suppose Jake counts. But oh well. They will suffice...Haha, just kidding. I'm glad I have them in my block thangy.
3rd- Then I went to World History and Civilizations (I think...) with Mr. Gafford. I really like him. He's really loud and out there, so I don't think that class will be too boring. AND he has a class set of books, so our book can stay at home; That's always a big ol' PLUS. AND! He has the Imperial March in his slideshow...+ 10 cool points.
4th- So next was World Lit. What fun. Anyway, she said to me, "Sarah Lavinder? Or is it LaVINder?" I was like, "LAVINDER!" Haha. But anywaaaay, she seems like a normal English teacher. She requires wide ruled paper, though. That, in itself, is a crime, cause wide ruled paper SUCKS. Haha. Anyway...It seems like it'll just be a typical English class. She does Forensic Speaking, which I might do...So you never know.
5th- Is Math. She (Stanberry) seems ok. She's one of those straight-forward teachers. I met a new friend. Jimmy, from Dunbar. His hair is the coolest thing ever made. (Haha, Andre'.) We didn't do much, just went over some rules. Then it was lunch...FINALLY!
Lunch- I spent the 27 minute lunch period...in the line, getting food. Haha, when the bell rang for everyone to leave, I was walking to my table. Niiice. Anyway, Audrey, Jenny, Steven, some other kids, and I were left in there eating. Eventually we went to 6th period, and Mr. Hand just blabbered.
6th- Well...Mr. Hand just blabbered. It looks like a pretty good band though. Wooley is in it...He's a Senior. I figured he'd be in Symphonic. But ah well, he's probably the best Baritone we'll have.
7th- FRENCH! Oh snap, Jimmy's in that class too. But it's all the old French crew from last year, cept Stefan, who ditched us for German. Ugh. But I'm still Renee', which is cool.
Then after all that mess, I went to Marching Band practice, which was, well, MB practice. I forgot my shorts, so I was all up in jeans and crap. It was hot.
But then I came home. And now I'm still here, looking at a pile of homework. Ugh...And so the year begins...
My words of wisdom?
Crap.
I hate homework.
Tuesday, August 23, 2005, 10:46 pm
So you think you can love me and leave me to die.
So Audrey and I are chillaxin' at my hizzouse. Listening to the Killer Queen album. Cause that's how we roll. **gangster sign**
Haha, juuuuust kidding. But we do roll in that general direction, with the Queen, and the
Yep.

I am the one, the only one.
Whoa. Haven't updated in 019482348234823 days.
But nothing has happened. It's just band camp everyday. Which is nothing but torture. Uuuuuugh. Oh well. It happens.
How are y'all doing?
...Good.
Me?
Awesome. It hurts to move.
Haha. stupids. Well, I'm gunna go figure out what the crap I want to do to this blog, because I think it's ugly currently.
See ya round.
Sunday, July 31, 2005, 02:12 pm
Another hole in the wall of my inner defenses, leaving me breathless
Hello there, dear neglected blog.
It's not my fault, really. Nothing worthy of an update, anyway. Well, I s'pose a few things have happened. ...No. Nothing.
Anyway, I went to Caitlin's b-day party Friday night It was fun, we saw The Longest Yard. It was a good movie. Becca and I were being idiots. **puts pinky in the air** ROCK ON! Haha, no.
During the summer I've started going to church again. It makes me feel good inside. The people there are really nice and welcoming, I feel like they want me there. Made a new friend too, Sarah. She's really into anime and manga like I am. I s'pose it's nice to know someone with your interests, cause you can laugh about the funny stuff without weird looks. She can draw, too. **sighs** Wish I could draw. I just write. Oh well.
Dirturbed's new single "Stricken" came out the other day. It is hot stuff. In fact, my title is a line from it. I'm in love with it.
I like how one minute I'm talking about church, then the next I'm talking about Disturbed....**shakes head**
Rookie Camp starts tomorrow. **celebrates...not** Gotta be there at the ripe ol' hour of 8 am, which is practically the crack of dawn. At least it'll rain all week. I like the rain. The only person there that I'll know is Julie...I think. Hopefully I'll see some more old faces....Or maybe not. I've forgotton I disliked the general population at SMS. **sighs**
**does a dance** I'm slightly bored. I've been up since around 9pm yesterday. I'm trying to stay up today, so I can go to bed tonight, thus having energy for tomorrow's escapade.
But anyway...I have some money, and I don't know what to do with it. My mom said she'd pay for my school clothes so I can buy stuff I want. Hmm...I want a digital camera...Maybe I'll save up. (Audrey got one...ugh. Luckyyy.) I also want some books from B&N that will help me improve my writing. I've been trying to draw for foreverrr, but I've failed miserably, so instead of trying to make me a new talent, I'm gunna count my blessings and improve the one I have. It sounds intelligent, I think. But I also want a bunch of anime and manga....
**sigh** Nevermind. I know want I want. Too much.
**singing** Yes, I am stricken and can't let go When the heart is cold, there's no hope... ...something something... Into the abyss will I run...
That's enough of that. Seriously...I need to learn the words.
Before I go, about some good times:
"What color is that chair?" "Ugly." "Yeah, but I'll be on there for, like, 10 or fifteen minutes. You'll be on there for 10 or 15 HOURS." "Something's gunna jump out at me, something's gunna jump out at me, something's gunna jump out at me...!!"
Well, I think I'll go now. I've babbled enough. **waves** Later.
EDIT:: Haha, this was so fun, I had to put it up. It's a conversation between Stefan and me.
Stefan: eggs Me: ...are good. Stefan: with pepper Me: and salt. Stefan: on a plate Me: next to toast Stefan: with butter Me: and grape jam Stefan: next to Me: bacon Stefan: with Me: ...fried bologna. Stefan: how random is Me: that. Stefan: and this Me: and those Stefan: plants Me: are green Stefan: or yellow Me: or brown Stefan: if dieing Me: or dead Stefan: on bread Me: with mold Stefan: that was untold Me: in the cold Stefan: please hold Me: and be bold Stefan: sold to the lady in the gold folded coat Me: (which is good for the cold) Stefan: the frog Me: ate a fly Stefan: how the heck did this get started Me: You said eggs. Me: [stefan's screen name]: eggs
Aaah, good times.
